Some quality time with her grandfathers

I arrived back at the hospital this morning and went to visit Gwyneth. After about 15 minutes her other grandpop showed up and the two of us sat on either side of her in wonder at this incredible gift God has given. Both Don and I had some prayer time with her.

She did peek looks at both of us but quickly closed her eyes. Not sure what that means...

Today they'll gradually take her off of the jet vent she's been on since yesterday and put her back on the conventional vent. The nurse says she's "fiesty". Lots of wiggling her feet and moving her hands and arms. Her color looks great and she seems very peaceful in her artificial womb.

Tomorrow I'm using an updated video Nathan put together "Hands on a Miracle" as part of my message to Nags Head Church, "Stand With God for Life". We'll be passing out the Kleenex first.

I still veiw these pictures of Gwyn in awe and wonder, as I realize that she should not even be "here" yet...she is supposed to inside her mommy...and yet, here she is, perfectly formed, ready for life, with a little help from technology and a lot of help from her Heavenly Father...

What a awsome thing we have been allowed to witness, may God continue to use this story to touch lives and help people realize that Life is Life...weather 25 weeks in the womb or already here out of the womb...

Wow!

And thanks for the pics of Nate and tricia, Nate looks like a very proud Papa! May Tricia and Gwyn get to meet face to face...soon!

Very cool, Rick. I continue to be amazed at the incredible things God is doing with and through your family. My family and I are privilidged to be part of your church family. What a great way for this baby's life to begin, bathed in so much prayer; today had to have been a great experience, both of her granddaddies praying for her. I can't imagine how good that was for y'all. We're continuing to pray for all. Love you guys!
