Home!

After spending most of the week in Durham with family and friends and going through the most trying week of my life, we arrived home tonight. We're tired, but so grateful. And I'm trying to process everything I've witnessed this week. My mind never left it the entire 4 hour drive.

We were torn about leaving, and got our laundry going ready to pack just in case we need to return. For Tricia and Gwyneth's sake, we hope we don't have to go back for a bit. They are holding their own.

And what have I been doing the two hours I've been back? Reading blogs, comments and emails. It's become like food to my soul.

By chance a fellow blogger passed on Nathan's link to me. I've been saying to my husband lately that I'm just not hearing God's word speak to me as of late. This is where that ended.... your stories have inspired me, brought me back to where I belong...brought back the craving to be all consumed by His word.

I pray for you all daily...I thank you constantly.

Amazing....completely....praise God!

Rick, I've been pondering everything that has been invested into Nate up till now that he can respond to this situation the way he has. His last post was awesome. The Lord, Gail and you have done a great job getting Nate started in the right direction. He has done an amazing job at surrendering and trusting too. Praise the Lord for your family.

You are 100% correct....reading this blog, and Nathan's have been food for my soul. I have prayed, and rejoiced with your family for the last 2 weeks that I have been following your lives. What amazingly strong and spiritual people you are....God is definitely working within you!!!
Hang in there!!!

I too pray that you don't have to return to Duke soon.

Still praying for their health and everyone's energy levels until both girls are home safe and sound.

Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old, they will not depart from God. This miracle that God is showing the world started back even before you, as parents to Nate and Tricia, were teaching them to love the Lord. It was training for this very time they are in, and praise the Lord, He is holding them up, controlling every breath, every heartbeat, holding the world captive for His glory. The latest pictures on perspective made my heart leap inside. There should be no doubt as to when life begins and who is in charge of it. This is the REAL DEAL here and God is the only one who truly knows the outcome, keeping thousands coming back for more, minute by minute. He is showing Himself in a mighty way through this precious little family of three. And He has the whole world in His Hands, yes He does.
Bless you and your entire family and rest in His grace and goodness. He is faithful to keep His promise.

Love, Laurie in Ca.

Glad your home. Look forward to your teaching tomorrow, but I have to say the lesson "I GOT" this week is how to pray constantly and the power in prayer. It blows my mind how GOD is working with this in so many directions, and I am so honored to be a witness to it. Any help we can give you, let us know. Kerstin
...Hey, after all this, we may just need a "Over Flow" room again!!!!

Your family's lives have changed mine for the better! I have prayed more this week than I have in quit some time. I'm a pastor's wife and mother and have been totally refreshed by GOD'S goodness, healing, peace, comfort, and grace for your family! Still praying for Tricia, Gwyneth and your son Nathan, as well as you and your wife and family. Can't wait to see more miracles from our loving GOD!
