Was that a great gathering, or WHAT?? The music and teaching were excellent. Seemed like there was no rush to get through, no distractions about the food, and a clear sense of what communion is about. I do appreciate those who taught/watched the children. I know 90 mins is a long time on that side of the wall. For me, First Wednesday was the first time I have actually started preparing my heart for communion 13 hours before we got there. My 40 Days of Prayer time definitely made a difference in being ready for communion. Thank you, God, and everybody else who was there!
What a great time of worship! To me, it was water for a thirsting soul. The power of the Holy Spirit was almost overwhelming at times, especially during our prayer time. The music was awesome, even better than usual, which is saying a lot. We were blessed with meat from God's Word. Thanks to our pastors and staff for leading us so well. And thanks, God, for all you are doing at NHC.
Oh yes, what an awesome time of worship. For me, it is a blessing to serve with a ministry team that step up to the plate alternating their serving for this monthly gathering, which never leaves one team member always carrying the load! We have a great church family who gets “IT”. Thank you God, for all you are doing here in us.
Everyone is passionate about something. Who I am and who I am becoming as a man, a husband, a father, grandfather, retired pastor, leader and Christ-follower all work together to shape my passions.
If I think I've got some wisdom or insight to share, I'll share it. If I have a question to ask, I'll ask it. If something in the news strikes me I may comment on it. I won't shy away from controversy, but neither will I tolerate what we call in the south "ugly" behavior in readers' comments.
If you enjoy it, great! Glad to have you along. If you don't, that's OK, too. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for praying. Please check my blog and if you accept prayer request at your church, I would be appreciative if you placed her on it.
