Wonderful news! I have been praying for this day for some time now. So happy for you all.
Last year my son had an unexpected four month stay in a hospital 1,000 miles away from home. The day we finally made it back home was the happiest of my life! I can only imagine what this drive will be like for Tricia and Nate.
What a great banner to welcome them home! Bet you just can't wipe the PermaGrin off your face these days! Savor the sound of a tiny baby crying in your home at 2:00AM tomorrow morning! What a gorgeous melody! Almost as sweet as the praises reaching Heaven from around the world today! So thrilled for all of you.
We'd like to come visit your church when we come for our annual vacation. I know that I've driven by it but just in case I'm wrong, at which milepost are you located? I can see the church in my mind but not the milepost marker:) We love our church so much that we haven't tried others while vacationing in years past. We just couldn't imagine liking any other church. After following Nathan's blog and now finding yours through his, I'm excited to bring my family to meet your church family in a few weeks! Thanks so much and congratulations on your son's homecoming! Oh, and what time are your services?
Rick, Has anyone thought about submitting Nate, Trisha and Gwyneth's story to Extreme Home Makeover? They would probably get chosen and have a house built that would meet Trisha's special needs! Just a thought.
Everyone is passionate about something. Who I am and who I am becoming as a man, a husband, a father, grandfather, retired pastor, leader and Christ-follower all work together to shape my passions.
If I think I've got some wisdom or insight to share, I'll share it. If I have a question to ask, I'll ask it. If something in the news strikes me I may comment on it. I won't shy away from controversy, but neither will I tolerate what we call in the south "ugly" behavior in readers' comments.
If you enjoy it, great! Glad to have you along. If you don't, that's OK, too. Thanks for stopping by.

@ Kateri - We're immediately south of Jockey's Ridge State Park, almost milepost 13.
@ Scott - many times over the last 6 months.
Thanks, Rick! That's what I thought. Our house is directly across the highway from the Jockey's Ridge entrance.
See you in a few weeks!
Kateri
