Is it too much to ask?

Why does it seem that leading politicians in our country can't pronounce the word "nuclear"?
Just wondering.

Carter couldn't.
Bush 2 couldn't.
Palin can't.

It's really not that hard. And it's a word that's still in vogue.
Come on.

    I hadn't noticed your politicians doing it, but someone here read the words to a whole documentary about nuclear power and got it wrong every time - it was so irritating, I could hardly bear to watch the documentary!

    I'm with you on this one! Very frustrating to hear that! I think my husband probably heard me sputtering about it during the debate last night. Glad to know I am not alone! :)
