Discouraging news

I just talked with Nathan. Tricia's PET scan showed no remission in the cancer and that it may have spread to a lymph node in her chest. Tomorrow they will do a biopsy and from there determine the next step of treatment.

Nathan, Tricia and Gwyneth will be returning home tomorrow from Duke.

We all had hopes that this round of chemo would kill the cancer, but it hasn't. Thanks for your continued prayers.

    " When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
    and through the rivers,
    they shall not overwhelm you;
    when you walk through fire
    you shall not be burned,
    and the flame shall not consume you.
    For I am the LORD your God,

  39. I will be continuing to keep you all in my prayers.

    My husband Richard is 46 years old and he too has CF as well as Stage 4 colon cancer. He just decided yesterday to stop all treatment as the cancer continues to spread regardless. This is a very hard road for anyone to have to go down. But God's grace is our stregth.

    Blessings to you and yours from me and mine.

  41. As I was praying today, I began Thanking God for this day that our Savior has given us. For the day Trisha underwent surgery and Gwenyth was born. What a gift from God to deliver them BOTH that day. How Thankful I am for the day I read the post when Trisha woke up and learned her beautiful daughter was safe and well. How amazed and Thankful I am to God for the day Trisha held her beautiful daughter for the first time. How thankful I am for the new lungs the gift another couple gave during their grief to give life and hope to another family. How thankful I am to the recover of both Trisha and Gwenyth the day they both came home from the hospital.

    How Thankful I am that God has given each of us the opportunity to come along side and pray for you and with you. Praying you feel God walking alongside you during this difficult trial and that the Doctors have wisdom on how to treat this cancer. Praying for COMPLETE healing in Trisha.
