First I read your post, then I went to read another blog and found this...
O God, you have taught us to keep all your commandments by loving you and our neighbor: Grant us the grace of your Holy Spirit, that we may be devoted to you with our whole heart, and united to one another with pure affection; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

I think about this all the time. It really is all you need to do to keep from sin. Sin always hurts another person in some way. I agree with bill that it's basic but not easy.
I think it's more than just keeping us from sin, not that that's any small matter. I think it's the whole package. Everything we do should be summed up in those two loves.
