If I think I've got some wisdom or insight to share, I'll share it. If I have a question to ask, I'll ask it. If something in the news strikes me I may comment on it. I won't shy away from controversy, but neither will I tolerate what we call in the south "ugly" behavior in readers' comments.

Happy Anniversary! So funny thing...I somehow a while back ran across your son's blog...been reading and then of course started following your blog. We are long time vacationers to the OBX...the past 32 years! Now my daughter is getting married down there and I stumble upon your wife's flower site. We are def going to give her a call to try and meet up sometime to discuss flowers. Very cool...and hope ya'll have a great anniversary!
