Happy Birthday Sarah

Hope your special day is just that - happy and special.

I won't forget that you were born on a Friday night. I had to get up from watching The Dukes of Hazzard to take your mom to the hospital.

We miss you much.

Love,
Dad

I agree it's a good thing wishing your daughter a happy birthday...

It's the Duke of Hazard reference that's got me laughing...

Just the good ole' boys / Never meanin' no harm / Beats all you never saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born / Straightenin' the curves / Flattenin' the hills / Someday the mountain might get 'em, but the law never will / Makin' their way the only way they know how / That's just a little bit more than the law will allow / Just the good ole' boys / Wouldn't change if they could / Fightin' the system like a true-modern day Robin Hood.

I think I was there watching Dukes of Hazzard.

Yes, Andy, you were there. Maybe Mark, too? Or Scott?

Nathan's birth cause me to have to leave my Synoptic Gospels class in seminary. Sarah's made me miss the Dukes.

I'm more upset about the Dukes.

I think the only thing my parents missed for my birth was sleep....I was born at 12:49am. :)

Actually, after talking last night with Sarah and asking her mom, it was around 1 something in the morning that she was born. So, she was born on a Saturday. It just interrupted my TV viewing on Friday night.

Something pretty funny just happened. I was glancing at the blog, and thought to myself "oh how sweet, he remembers her birthday and exactly what he was doing then..." and then got confused at the "mom" part. Then I saw, LOVE RICK -- I thought I was reading Terry's blog. :)
