Baby, it's cold outside!

We're in the deep freeze that is covering the eastern US. Brrrr. High here today of 28. Little Belhaven, inland an hour and a half from us will hit 13 today. The plumbers in the Southeast will be working OT the next few days repairing burst pipes.

What's the weather today where you are? (I know some of you are enjoying summer.)

We are having what they have called here a "freeze" also. It won't reach 70 degrees all week! The local Floridians are wrapping up.

Get ready for this.

It was 50 degrees here yesterday. That's 50 ABOVE zero.

Here in Anchorage, AK.

This time last week it was well below zero.

School has been cancelled three days in a row b/c of the road conditions caused by snow and ice melt. It gets above freezing and we do not know what to do with ourselves.

Here in London it's about 8 C (don't know what that is in your measurements), overcast and cloudy so that you don't have a shadow. But last week it was well below freezing, and stayed that way all day, which is unusual for here.

We spent a few days in the South of France in the New Year, and on our last day it snowed heavily - the South of France does not cope well with snow!

Our car thermometer was hovering right around zero as we drove home from babysitting at our daughter's house about an hour ago. But that is only because we are about ten miles inland from Lake Michigan, which moderates our temps here in SW lower Michigan. Straight south of us about 75 miles or so, along the Indiana border, it was well below zero last night, with wind chills of -35.

I was in Alaska where it was -50 but now I'm back in Washington and its 40. Big switch in a week!

It was about 30C not sure what that would be in Fahrenheight and I'm 21 weeks pregnant so that is not a good combination. HOT HOT HOT!!

It's not so cold here (although it is cold) - seems to hover around 0 C (not sure on the fahrenheit thing) but it is scarily windy. Scotland is expecting 70-90mph winds tonight.
