Duke Univ. Hospital ROCKS!

I've been holding back on coming out with this, but after watching this video, it seems like the right time.

The people at Duke are amazing. We're so blessed to be close enough to a research medical facility of the highest quality.

Are they perfect? Heck, no. Only One person gets that status. But what's so cool is that He uses people - doctors, nurses, social workers (Hi Bill) and others in the health care profession to "over achieve" and to be willing to take risks that lesser mortals might not attempt.

I love to hear docs use terms like "amazing" and "miraculous". My guess is that the best of them realize they have an unseen partner.

Thanks to all of you at Duke. You are the best.

I'll even start cheering for the Blue Devils now.

I agree, I think the best of them know they have an "unseen partner." Last year my son, who weighed less than 2 pounds at the time, had heart surgery.

There was a painting hanging in the hospital's lobby - picture of Jesus guiding a surgeons hands. It has brought me a lot of comfort at the time. No matter what happened, my son was in the best hands possible: the Lords.

May God continue to give the Duke staff the strength, courage, understanding, and intelligence to do the wonderful work they do.

I have heard many good things about Duke hospital.A few people I know have had brain tumors and are alive today because of the hospital.

Still will go for UNC in basketball and out of state for football-Ohio State.

Most of the dcotors probably weren't originally from the college so I don't feel too bad.

Not Duke related but my friend's son went to Bob Jones for college,University of Virginia for Med School and now for resdiency Michigan State for a 7 year residnecy-being an OSU fan I won't go for Michigan even if my her son does his resdiency there!

GOD rocks though!!

Duke Hospital is excellent. They have excellent doctors and nurses and definately do well at cancer research, surgery, obviously organ donations, um and many other things.

Their basketball team on the other hand ... Um Not so much. there is a too much used phrase about a place "down south" hitting below 32 degrees that I could use about the basketball team and being a fan. :)

I do praise God that Duke Hospital is there to help folks like my MIL and Tricia and Gywneth and so many others.

As an Rn, I can safely say that the majority of docs and other nurses I have workd with over the yrs(tho not at Duke) know that there is indeed One who guides things. I have seen miracles over and over again.
I am so glad God had such a fine team in place for Tricia,Gwyneth and Nate!
God Bless you all

That was really a great article. It was an awesome gift having a place like that nearby for Trisha and Gwyneth and the rest of the clan! The Lord blessed the world through the windows of that place.
